Yes... it's super cute, it looks aesthetic, and it's in every kitchen on Pinterest. But really? You don't have any more counter space... It's the typical purchase you then offer as a gift (and people cleverly tell you no, it's adorable but they won't use it)

Easy to transport around the house

    (+2)

Home exercise equipment, such as treadmills and stationary bikes, are often bought with good intentions but end up unused, serving as storage for other items. They take up a lot of space and their maintenance can be costly.

    • Efficient equipment that takes up little space

    • Guaranteed quality.

Seriously... how many times have you used it? You thought you were going to make a specialty coffee. You use the same old cup and spoon... I'll still send you the link to the one I have, it's really cool!

I bought it in one of Amazon's spring sales because I couldn't resist the huge discount... and there it is, abandoned in a drawer since the second use.

  5. 5

    Single-purpose Appliances

    7 votes

Single-purpose appliances, such as panini presses, waffle makers, and juicers, often take up valuable kitchen space and are rarely used, making them unnecessary purchases. They can be replaced by multi-functional appliances or manual methods to save space and reduce clutter.

    Key Basket

    5 votes

The essential! No matter how many times they ask you: NEVER LEAVE THE KEYS THERE WHEN YOU ENTER THE HOUSE. Yes, you probably throw them back a few inches from the bin... but no. What does it cost us? We'll never know, but we can't use it properly and it ends up with grocery receipts.

  8. 7

    Oculus Quest 2

    5 votes

    Immersive virtual reality experiences

    (+3)

The Oculus Quest 2, despite its potential, often ends up gathering dust in a corner. Its prolonged use can be uncomfortable, and the virtual reality experience, while innovative, doesn't easily integrate into most people's daily routines, making it a superfluous purchase.

    • Extensive library of games and applications

    • Opportunity for exercise and entertainment

    • Standalone, wireless design

Christmas decorations that only you saw

Seriously, stop it! You spent a ton of money because they're so cool, and by October they started putting up Christmas decorations everywhere, and you got FOMO. Only you saw them because you don't invite anyone over, New Year's Eve is always at your parents' or aunts' house... in a box in the storage room until next December 8th (where you'll do the same stupid thing of putting them back up).

Yes, they look very pretty... but you never light them, and now they're covered in dust that you have to wipe off to hide the fact that the candle isn't lit. You only light the ones in the IKEA pack, we all know that... But they look so good decorating every shelf in the house and in the bathroom, please...

    Animal Cable Organizer

    3 votes

It didn't organize anything. Today it's an ornament hanging from a USB flash drive, or more likely, it's a decoration in the drawer where we store everything we don't need.

  12. 11

    Lemon Spray

    3 votes

You saw it on TikTok, you bought it excitedly because it was only 2 bucks, you used it once (or not at all). Junk drawer. RIP.

    Matcha Tea Making Set

    2 votes

Includes necessary accessories for making matcha tea

    (+3)

The Matcha Tea Making Set, despite its aesthetic and ritualistic appeal, often ends up gathering dust in a cupboard. Most people end up buying pre-mixed matcha or simply don't find the time or dedication for the traditional process, turning it into an expensive decoration rather than a frequently used tool.

    • 100% organic ceremonial grade matcha

    • Allows you to prepare and enjoy Japanese tea

    • Includes chawan or Japanese bowl for preparing and drinking matcha tea
