Born on September 13, 1956, in Orthez, France, Ducasse grew up on a farm but chose a career in cooking, training under legendary chefs like Michel Guérard and Roger Vergé. His culinary journey began with apprenticeships in France and led to his first chef position at L'amandier in Mougins. Ducasse's career took a significant leap when he took over Le Louis XV in Monaco, earning three Michelin stars by the age of 33. Ducasse's culinary empire spans over 30 restaurants worldwide, including Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester in London and in Paris. He is the first chef to have been awarded three Michelin stars in three different cities: Monaco, Paris, and New York. Ducasse emphasizes responsible cuisine, focusing on local produce and natural flavors. He has authored numerous cookbooks and founded Ducasse Education, contributing significantly to culinary training.
