About

Budweiser is one of the most globally recognized beer brands, known for its distinctive crisp taste. The brand's history is intertwined with the city of České Budějovice, Czech Republic, where it gets its name from the German term "Budweis." However, the American version of Budweiser, produced by Anheuser-Busch, was first introduced in 1876, while the Czech version, Budweiser Budvar, was established in 1895. This has led to a long-standing trademark dispute between the two companies. American Budweiser is an extremely pale lager with a mild aroma and a clean, dry palate. It contains a mix of barley malt and rice, providing a light and refreshing taste. In contrast, Budweiser Budvar from the Czech Republic adheres to traditional brewing methods, using only malted barley, hops, and water, resulting in a richer flavor profile. Both versions have their unique characteristics, contributing to Budweiser's global popularity and diverse appeal.
