About

Cala Goloritzé is a breathtaking beach located in the town of Baunei, in the southern part of the Gulf of Orosei, Sardinia. It was formed by a landslide in 1962 and is renowned for its stunning natural features, including a 143-meter limestone pinnacle and a beautiful natural arch. The beach is composed of small white pebbles and offers crystal-clear turquoise waters. Its unique landscape makes it a popular spot for snorkeling and exploring the surrounding cliffs. Access to Cala Goloritzé is limited, enhancing its secluded charm. Visitors can reach the beach via a challenging 3.5-kilometer hike or by boat, though docking is not allowed. The beach is a protected site, and daily visitor numbers are capped to preserve its natural beauty. Cala Goloritzé is part of the Selvaggio Blu trekking route and has been declared a Natural Monument of Sardinia. Its remote location and limited access ensure that it remains one of Sardinia's most pristine and untouched coastal spots.
