Cala Goloritzé is a breathtaking beach located in the town of Baunei, within the Gulf of Orosei in Sardinia, Italy. Formed by a landslide in 1962, it is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, featuring a 143-meter limestone pinnacle known as Aguglia di Goloritze. The beach itself is composed of small white pebbles and sand, set against the backdrop of turquoise waters and dramatic limestone cliffs. This unique landscape has earned Cala Goloritzé the status of a "Natural Monument" in 1993 and an "Italian National Monument" in 1995. Access to Cala Goloritzé is limited, either by a challenging hike or by boat, with strict environmental protections in place to preserve its natural charm. The beach is part of the Selvaggio Blu trekking route and offers excellent opportunities for snorkeling and rock climbing. Visitors are required to book tickets in advance, with a daily limit on the number of visitors to maintain its pristine condition.
