Chimera
Chimera The Chimera is a terrifying creature from Greek mythology, described as a fire-breathing monster with the head of a lion, the body of a goat, and the tail of a serpent. Some versions even attribute to it three heads. It was the offspring of Typhon and Echidna, and was defeated by the hero Bellerophon with the help of Pegasus. Its hybrid nature and destructive power have cemented it as an archetypal fantasy monster, inspiring the creation of other composite creatures in modern fiction.
