Chloe Coscarelli is a renowned vegan chef and author celebrated for her innovative plant-based cuisine. Born on October 14, 1987, in Los Angeles, California, she is the daughter of filmmaker Don Coscarelli. Chloe grew up in Pacific Palisades and developed a passion for cooking during her time at UC Berkeley. Her culinary journey took a significant turn with a summer internship at Millennium, a gourmet vegan restaurant in San Francisco, which led her to enroll in the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City. Chloe gained widespread recognition after winning Food Network's "Cupcake Wars" in 2010, becoming the first vegan chef to win a culinary competition on TV. She has published several bestselling cookbooks, including "Chloe's Kitchen," "Chloe's Vegan Desserts," and "Chloe's Vegan Italian Kitchen." In 2015, she co-founded the vegan fast-casual chain "By Chloe," which became a sensation before she was forced out in 2017. In 2024, she opened a new restaurant named CHLOE in Greenwich Village, marking her return to the culinary scene.
