Damson Idris Damson Idris is a British actor and producer born in 1991 in Peckham, South East London, to Nigerian parents. He is the youngest of six children and was raised by his single mother, who instilled in him ambition and hard work. Initially, his dream was to become a professional football player, but a knee injury led him to pursue acting. Idris studied Theatre, Film & Television Studies at Brunel University and trained at the Identity School of Acting. Idris's acting career began on stage, with notable performances in plays like "Pandora's Box" and "Hotel" at the Royal National Theatre. He gained recognition for his role as Franklin Saint in the FX series "Snowfall." Idris has also appeared in films like "Megan Leavey," "Farming," and Netflix's "Outside the Wire." His versatility and talent have earned him multiple awards, including the best performance award at the Edinburgh Film Festival for his role in "Farming." Idris's career showcases his ability to excel in both stage and screen roles.
