The Dash Robot is a versatile, interactive learning tool designed for children aged 6 and up. Dash is equipped with a range of sensors and actuators, including three microphones, a gyroscope, four infrared transmitters, and three range distance sensors. These features allow Dash to interact with its environment, detect obstacles, and respond to voice commands. It also includes LEDs for visual feedback, such as 12 white LEDs in its eyes and RGB LEDs in its ears and chest. Dash can be programmed using various apps like Wonder, Blockly, Path, and Go, which offer different levels of complexity suitable for various learning stages. These apps enable children to create detailed behaviors for Dash, such as moving, singing, dancing, and responding to sounds. Dash is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, providing up to five hours of operation. It connects via Bluetooth Smart 4/LE, making it compatible with a wide range of devices. With its user-friendly interface and educational focus, Dash has become a popular tool in both home and classroom settings, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills in young learners.
