Delpozo
Fashion brandAbout
Delpozo is a Spanish fashion brand founded by Jesús del Pozo in 1974 in Madrid. Initially, the brand focused on menswear before expanding into womenswear, becoming a household name in Spain. Jesús del Pozo was celebrated for his creativity and craftsmanship, earning the Cristobal Balenciaga National Award for Best Designer in 1989. After his passing in 2011, the brand was acquired by Perfumes y Diseño SA, which appointed Josep Font as creative director to modernize and internationalize the label. Under Josep Font's direction from 2012 to 2018, Delpozo became known for its futuristic and fairytale-like aesthetic, featuring bold patterns, strong colors, and couture detailing. The brand is characterized by its demi-couture approach, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern sensibilities. Since 2018, German designer Lutz Huelle has led the brand, continuing its tradition of intricate embroidery and sculptural designs. Delpozo's collections are designed for the contemporary woman, emphasizing poise and timeless elegance.
