About

Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery is a historic and pioneering establishment located on the southwestern hills of Keuka Lake in New York. Founded in 1962 by Dr. Konstantin Frank, it is renowned for being the first to successfully plant vinifera vines in the Eastern United States, starting in 1957. This marked the beginning of the "Vinifera Revolution," which significantly elevated the New York wine industry. The winery is family-owned, with a legacy spanning four generations, including Willy Frank, Frederick Frank, and Meaghan Frank. The winery offers breathtaking views of Keuka Lake and features a charming tasting room in the former home of Dr. Frank. It produces a variety of wines, including Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Gruner Veltliner. Known for its meticulous attention to detail, the winery has earned global recognition for its high-quality wines. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings and explore the historic vineyards, which include some of the oldest Pinot Noir vines in America. The winery's commitment to innovation and tradition continues to make it a standout in the Finger Lakes region.
