Fito Paez Fito Páez, born Rodolfo Páez on March 13, 1963, in Rosario, Argentina, is a renowned Argentine rock musician and filmmaker. He is celebrated as "The Troubadour of Argentine Rock" and is a key figure in Argentine rock music. Páez began his career early, forming his first band, Staff, at age 13. He later became part of the "Trova Rosarina" collective, which gained attention in Buenos Aires. His solo career took off with the album Del '63 in 1984, followed by collaborations with notable artists like Luis Alberto Spinetta. Páez's commercial success peaked with the album El Amor Después del Amor in 1992, selling over 750,000 copies. He has worked as a producer for other artists and has received multiple awards, including two Latin Grammys. Páez has also ventured into filmmaking, directing movies like Vidas privadas and Women on the Edge. His life and career have been portrayed in the Netflix series Fito Páez: El Amor Después Del Amor. Páez continues to perform globally, including upcoming concerts like the one at Starlite Marbella on July 14, 2025.
