It brings together thousands of participants from over 500 tribes across the U.S. and Canada, showcasing vibrant dance competitions, traditional music, and craftsmanship. The event features a Grand Entry led by Miss Indian World, followed by stunning performances and competitions in various dance categories. Additionally, it includes the Miss Indian World pageant, a prestigious title for young Indigenous women. The event also features the Indian Traders Market, where attendees can explore and purchase Native American arts and crafts. Other highlights include the Horse and Rider Regalia Parade and diverse musical performances on Stage 49. The Gathering of Nations is not only a celebration of culture but also a platform for cultural exchange and community building, fostering appreciation for Native American traditions. It attracts tens of thousands of spectators each year, making it the largest powwow in North America.
