Grand Tourmalet (Occitanie)

Grand Tourmalet (Occitanie) Grand Tourmalet is the largest ski domain in the French Pyrenees, connecting the resorts of Barèges (1250 m) and La Mongie (1800 m). It offers over 100 km of slopes for all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers, with altitudes ranging from 1400 to 2500 meters. The area is renowned for its diversity, including beautiful blue and red runs, as well as excellent off-piste skiing opportunities, particularly in the Pic du Midi freeride area, which has hosted World Cup competitions. While much of the terrain is treeless, forest descents can be found in Ayre Barèges. It is a popular destination for families and mountain enthusiasts alike.
