The ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) is a globally recognized certification designed for cybersecurity professionals responsible for securing cloud environments. It validates expertise in cloud security architecture, design, operations, and service orchestration. The CCSP is ideal for roles such as cloud architects, engineers, and security analysts. It demonstrates advanced technical skills and knowledge in securing data, applications, and infrastructure in the cloud. The CCSP exam covers six domains: Cloud Concepts, Architecture and Design; Cloud Data Security; Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Security; Cloud Application Security; Cloud Security Operations; and Legal, Risk and Compliance. Candidates must have five years of IT experience, with three years in information security and one year in one of the six domains. The certification is accredited by ANSI/ISO/IEC Standard 17024 and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense. Maintaining the certification requires continuing professional education (CPE) credits.
