Jaedyn Shaw is a 19-year-old American professional soccer player known for her remarkable early success. Born on November 20, 2004, in Frisco, Texas, Shaw began playing soccer at the age of four, initially honing her skills through futsal before transitioning to traditional soccer around age 12. She played for FC Dallas and Solar Soccer Club during her youth career. Shaw made her professional debut with the San Diego Wave at 17, scoring in her first game and becoming the youngest player to do so in the NWSL. Shaw's achievements include being named the U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year in 2022 and winning the NWSL Shield with the San Diego Wave. She has also made history as the first Vietnamese American to play for the USWNT, scoring in her first five starts. Shaw's versatility as a forward and attacking midfielder has been praised, and she continues to grow as a leader in the sport.
