Jessica Rosenkrantz is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and programmer who co-founded Nervous System in 2007. She holds degrees in biology and architecture from MIT, furthering her studies in architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Her work blends science and art, utilizing simulations of natural processes and digital fabrication to create unique, customized products. This approach allows for mass customization through interactive design systems, making design more accessible to consumers. Rosenkrantz's designs have gained international recognition, featured in publications like WIRED and The New York Times. Her work is part of the permanent collections at the Museum of Modern Art and the Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
