Jordan Poole is an American professional basketball player born on June 19, 1999, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He currently plays for the Washington Wizards as a shooting guard. Poole's basketball career began at Rufus King High School in Milwaukee before transferring to La Lumiere School in Indiana. He played college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines, where he made a significant impact, notably with a memorable buzzer-beater against Houston in the NCAA Tournament. Poole was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the 2019 NBA draft. He initially played in the G-League with the Santa Cruz Warriors before becoming a key player for the Warriors. In the 2021-2022 season, Poole led the NBA in free throw percentage and won an NBA championship with the Warriors.
