Julieta Rueff
PersonAbout
Julieta Rueff is the founder of FlamAid, a personal security technology startup dedicated to combating systematic violence against women and vulnerable groups. Motivated by a personal experience of fear while walking home alone, she created FlamAid in 2022 as a "peaceful grenade" — a compact device that emits a 110-decibel alarm and sends real-time GPS location alerts to emergency contacts and authorities. This innovation aims to ensure users’ safety by making it impossible for attackers or threats to go unnoticed, embodying Rueff’s commitment that “no one should have to live in fear” and that “with FlamAid, you’ll make it home. Always”. Beyond founding FlamAid, Julieta Rueff is actively engaged in social entrepreneurship focused on empowering women and challenging societal norms related to safety and violence prevention. She is currently pursuing studies in Marketing and International Business at ESCI Barcelona while gaining international recognition for her efforts through platforms like Forbes 30 Under 30. Her work situates her among disruptive founders supporting the growth of future entrepreneurs with innovative solutions addressing urgent social issues.
