Katawa Shoujo is a bishōjo-style visual novel developed by Four Leaf Studios. The game follows the story of Hisao Nakai, a young man who transfers to Yamaku High School after suffering a heart attack due to his congenital arrhythmia. At Yamaku, a boarding school for students with disabilities, Hisao meets five girls: Shizune Hakamichi, Lilly Satou, Hanako Ikezawa, Emi Ibarazaki, and Rin Tezuka.
