Kia Damon is a celebrated American chef born in 1993 in Orlando, Florida. She rose to prominence at a young age, becoming the Executive Chef of Lalito in Manhattan's Chinatown at just 24 years old. Despite lacking formal culinary training, Damon's career has been marked by her innovative approach to food and her dedication to expressing herself through cooking. Her background in hospitality and early experiences working in restaurants and food trucks laid the foundation for her success. Damon's accomplishments include winning an episode of Chopped in 2020 and being named the first culinary director of Cherry Bombe. She is also the founder of Kia Feeds The People, a mutual aid initiative providing groceries to underserved communities.
