La Molina-Masella La Molina-Masella, known as Alp 2500, combines two major ski resorts in the Pyrenees, offering 145 km of slopes. It is located in the Province of Girona, Catalonia, and includes the oldest ski resort in Spain, La Molina, which began operations in 1943. The resort features slopes for all skill levels, accessed primarily by chairlifts, and is situated between elevations of 1,616 and 2,537 meters.The area is renowned for its diverse landscapes, including the pine forests of Masella, which provide excellent snow preservation. Masella boasts the largest skiable vertical drop in the Eastern Pyrenees, with a descent of 935 meters from La Tosa's summit. The resorts offer a range of amenities, including dining options and a joint ski pass, making it a popular destination for families and experienced skiers alike.
