Lena Dunham is a renowned American writer, director, actress, and producer. Born on May 13, 1986, in New York City, she rose to prominence with her semi-autobiographical film Tiny Furniture (2010) and later with the HBO series Girls (2012–2017), which she created, wrote, and starred in.
