Liechtenstein is a small, doubly landlocked country situated between Switzerland and Austria in Western Europe. With a total area of approximately 160 square kilometers, it is one of the smallest countries in Europe. The capital, Vaduz, is well-known, though Schaan is the largest municipality. Liechtenstein is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system, featuring a unique blend of monarchical and democratic elements. The government consists of a five-member cabinet appointed by the prince on the recommendation of the parliament. Economically, Liechtenstein is highly industrialized and prosperous, with a strong focus on manufacturing and financial services.
