Lovecraft Country is a historical fantasy horror television series developed by Misha Green, based on Matt Ruff's 2016 novel of the same name. The show follows Atticus Freeman, a young black man, as he embarks on a perilous journey across 1950s America to find his missing father. Accompanied by his uncle George and friend Letitia, they face both the racist terrors of Jim Crow America and supernatural horrors inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's works.
