Maxwell Jenkins is an American actor born on May 3, 2005, in Chicago, Illinois. He began his career in the performing arts at a young age, debuting in his family's theatrical circus company, Midnight Circus, at just three years old. Jenkins' early roles included appearances in TV series such as Betrayal (2013) and Sense8 (2015), as well as films like Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016). His breakout role came when he portrayed Will Robinson in the Netflix series Lost in Space (2018), earning him multiple Saturn Award nominations. Jenkins continues to expand his filmography with roles in Joe Bell (2020) alongside Mark Wahlberg and Reacher (2022) as young Jack Reacher. In 2023, he starred in the Apple TV+ series Dear Edward, and in 2024, he appeared in the film Arcadian. Outside of acting, Jenkins is musically inclined, playing guitar and mandolin, and remains involved with his family's circus. He is also committed to community work, having been recognized for his leadership and advocacy with organizations like the ASPCA.
