Morten Frost is a renowned Danish badminton player, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport. Born on January 4, 1950, in Frederiksberg, Denmark, Frost began playing badminton at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks, winning his first national championship at the age of 15. Throughout his illustrious career, Frost won an impressive 14 European Championships, 7 World Championships, and 3 Olympic medals, including a gold medal at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. He also held the number one ranking in the world for a record 11 years, from 1974 to 1985. Frost's impressive skills and dominance on the court earned him the nickname "The King of Badminton." His contributions to the sport have been recognized with numerous awards and inductions into the Badminton Hall of Fame.
