Mysterium is a cooperative board game where one player takes on the role of a ghost, while the others play as psychic mediums. The ghost communicates solely through abstract vision cards, guiding the psychics to solve a murder mystery by identifying the suspect, location, and murder weapon. The game is set in a haunted mansion, where the ghost's memories are fragmented, leading to unique challenges for both the ghost and the psychics. In Mysterium, players have seven rounds to solve the mystery. The ghost provides vision cards each round, and psychics discuss and interpret these clues to make their guesses. If all psychics correctly identify their respective elements by the seventh round, the game progresses to a final phase where the ghost gives a final clue to reveal the true culprit. The game is known for its engaging cooperative gameplay and creative use of abstract art to convey clues, making it a thrilling experience for all players involved.
