The Naadam Festival is a centuries-old celebration deeply rooted in Mongolian culture, honoring the country's rich nomadic heritage. The festival is known for its three main sports: Mongolian wrestling, horse racing, and archery, which were considered essential skills for Mongol warriors during the time of Genghis Khan. Naadam celebrates not only sports but also Mongolian traditions, including music, dance, and cuisine. The event features the Bie biyelgee dance, long song, and Khöömei overtone singing, showcasing Mongolia's diverse cultural expressions.
