Netflix "Los favoritos de Midas" is a Spanish television miniseries, originally released on Netflix on November 13, 2020, in 190 countries. Created by Mateo Gil and Miguel Barros, the series is inspired by a short story by Jack London. Set in modern-day Madrid, the series follows an influential businessman, Víctor Genovés, played by Luis Tosar, who faces a strange blackmail situation with life-or-death consequences. The plot blends suspense and social commentary as Genovés has to make a difficult decision. The series, produced by Nostromo Pictures, consists of six episodes.
