Niccolò Campriani is a renowned Italian sport shooter and coach, born on November 6, 1987, in Florence, Italy. He is celebrated for his exceptional achievements in the shooting sport, including three Olympic gold medals. Campriani's career highlights include winning gold in the men's 50m rifle three positions at the 2012 London Olympics and both the 10m air rifle and 50m rifle three positions at the 2016 Rio Olympics. He also secured a silver medal in the 10m air rifle at the 2012 Olympics. Campriani studied at West Virginia University, where he earned a degree in industrial engineering and excelled as a collegiate athlete. He is a four-time All-American and won several titles in the NCAA Championships. After retiring from competitive shooting, Campriani has been involved in various initiatives, including coaching and founding the 'Make a Mark' project, which mentors refugees for elite sports. He currently works with the International Olympic Committee, focusing on athlete career programs and transition initiatives.
