The Night Riviera is a charming overnight train service operated by Great Western Railway, connecting London Paddington to Penzance in Cornwall. The journey spans approximately 305 miles, taking around 7 to 8 hours depending on the day. The train features modern sleeper cabins, including single and double berths, each equipped with amenities like a washbasin and complimentary water. On board, passengers can enjoy access to a lounge car with snacks and drinks, though seating options are also available for those who prefer not to sleep. The train stops at several stations along the route, including Exeter, Plymouth, and Truro. Cabin passengers can use First Class lounges at Paddington, Penzance, and Truro. Reservations are compulsory and can be made up to three months in advance.
