Nikola Topić is a young Serbian professional basketball player born on August 10, 2005, in Novi Sad, Serbia. He stands at 6 ft 6 in (1.98 m) and plays as a point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA. Topić was drafted by the Thunder with the 12th overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft. Prior to joining the NBA, he developed his skills in the youth system of Crvena zvezda, making his professional debut at just 16 years old. He also played for Slodes, OKK Beograd, and Mega, showcasing his talent in various Serbian leagues. Topić is known for his exceptional basketball sense and playmaking abilities. However, his 2024-25 season was cut short due to a partially torn ACL, which required surgery. Despite this setback, he is expected to contribute significantly to the Thunder once he recovers.
