Noah Hawley is a versatile American storyteller, celebrated for his work in television, film, and literature. Born in 1967 in New York City, Hawley is the son of non-fiction writer Louise Armstrong and businessman Tom Hawley. He graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a degree in political science and initially worked at the Legal Aid Society, handling cases of child abuse and neglect. Hawley's writing career began with novels, including "A Conspiracy of Tall Men" and "Before the Fall," before transitioning to television and film. Hawley's television career includes notable roles as a writer and producer on "Bones," and creator of "The Unusuals" and "My Generation." However, he is best known for creating and writing the FX series "Fargo," an anthology inspired by the Coen brothers' film, and "Legion," based on the Marvel character. Hawley's work is marked by dark humor and suspenseful storytelling, earning him numerous awards, including an Emmy and a Golden Globe. He is also set to create and direct "Alien: Earth," a series based on the "Alien" franchise.
