Ole Andreas Lilloe-Olsen was a renowned Norwegian rifle shooter born on April 27, 1883, in Oslo, Norway. He came from a wealthy landlord family and was educated as an engineer. However, after his brother's death, he shifted his focus to agriculture, taking over a farm in Vestre Grefsen. Lilloe-Olsen was a versatile athlete, excelling in skiing and winning the B-class in Nordic Combined at Holmenkollen in 1915. Lilloe-Olsen's shooting career began in 1913, with immediate success in clay pigeon shooting. He won several national titles, including the prestigious Landsskytterstevnet in 1918. At the 1920 and 1924 Summer Olympics, he won five gold medals and one silver in the running target events. His achievements made him the most successful Norwegian Olympian in shooting. Lilloe-Olsen continued to excel, setting a world record in clay pigeon shooting in 1932 and winning gold medals at the 1937 Shooting World Championships. He passed away on April 29, 1940, in Oslo.
