Ophiuchus

Ophiuchus Ophiuchus, also known as Serpentarius or the Serpent Bearer, is a constellation located between Scorpius and Sagittarius. It is one of the 88 modern constellations and was among the 48 listed by Ptolemy. Its name comes from Greek and means "the one who holds the serpent." The constellation is represented by the figure of Asclepius. Ophiuchus is a large constellation in the summer sky, with part of its figure entering the ecliptic. It contains 174 stars, with 10 forming its main figure, including Rasalhague, Sabik, and Han.
