Edson Arantes do Nascimento, commonly known as Pelé, is widely regarded as one of the greatest soccer players of all time. Born on October 23, 1940, in Três Corações, Brazil, Pelé began playing soccer at a young age and quickly demonstrated his exceptional skills. He joined the Brazilian club Santos at the age of 15 and went on to play for the team for 18 years, winning numerous titles and setting multiple records. Pelé's impressive career was marked by his incredible speed, skill, and scoring ability. He won three World Cup titles with Brazil, in 1958, 1962, and 1970, and scored over 1,000 goals in his career.
