Praça do Comércio, located in the heart of Lisbon, is a grand riverfront square that embodies the city's rich history and architectural splendor. Originally the site of the Royal Ribeira Palace, it was rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1755 under the guidance of the Marquis of Pombal.
