Reshma Saujani is a pioneering American entrepreneur, author, and advocate for girls' and women's education and empowerment. Born in India, Saujani immigrated to the United States with her family at a young age and grew up in a low-income household in Queens, New York. Despite the challenges she faced, Saujani's parents instilled in her a strong sense of determination and resilience, which would serve her well throughout her life. Saujani's journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur and advocate began when she co-founded Girls Who Code, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the number of women in technology and computer science. Through her work with Girls Who Code, Saujani has inspired countless young women to pursue careers in STEM fields and has helped to create a more inclusive and diverse technology industry. Saujani has also written several books, including "Girls Who Code: Learn to Code and Change the World" and "Winners Take All: The Sprint and Great Move That Transformed JPMorgan and Ignited a Wall Street Revolution."
