The yacht features a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, designed with both elegance and performance in mind. It is powered by four MTU diesel engines, each producing 12,070 horsepower, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 28 knots and cruise at 26 knots. The Rising Sun offers luxurious accommodations for up to 16 guests in eight cabins, along with a crew of 45. Its interior was designed by Seccombe Design, providing a lavish and opulent environment. Amenities include a fully-equipped gym, spa, sauna, private cinema, and an extensive wine cellar. The yacht also features a basketball court that can be converted into a helicopter pad. Owned by David Geffen, the Rising Sun is valued at approximately $400 million, reflecting its status as a premier luxury vessel.
