Scorpio
Scorpio Scorpio, or Scorpius, is a constellation located in the Southern Hemisphere, though it can be observed from the Northern Hemisphere during certain times. Its prime visibility occurs in the Northern Hemisphere's summer and the Southern Hemisphere's winter, specifically from May to November. The constellation is situated in the third quadrant of the Southern Hemisphere (SQ3), between 90° South and 44° North. Scorpio is known for its distinctive J shape, with the curved part representing the scorpion's tail. The constellation is bordered by Ophiuchus, Serpens Caput, Libra, Lupus, Norma, Ara, Corona Australis, and Sagittarius. Its brightest star is Antares, a red supergiant of spectral type M0.
