Survivor is a reality television show that premiered in 2000, based on the Swedish series Expedition Robinson. The show strands contestants in a remote location, typically a tropical setting, where they must survive and compete against each other. Initially divided into tribes, contestants engage in challenges to win rewards and immunity from elimination. The tribe that loses an immunity challenge must attend a Tribal Council, where they vote out one of their members. As the game progresses, tribes merge, and challenges become individual. Eliminated contestants form a jury that decides the winner at the Final Tribal Council.
