The Traitors is a reality TV series that combines strategy and suspense, where contestants collaborate on missions while some secretly plot against others to win a significant cash prize. The show is based on the Dutch series De Verraders and features a group of contestants divided into two roles: the "Faithful" and the "Traitors." The Traitors must eliminate the Faithful without being discovered, while the Faithful aim to uncover and banish the Traitors. The game takes place in a castle setting, adding to the mystery and intrigue. Hosted by Alan Cumming in the U.S. version and Claudia Winkleman in the U.K. version, the show involves daily missions to build a prize fund, which can reach up to $250,000 or £120,000. Contestants participate in Round Table discussions to vote out suspected Traitors, and the Traitors secretly eliminate a Faithful each night. The game culminates in a final challenge where remaining players must decide whether to end the game or continue voting. If all remaining players are Faithful, they share the prize; otherwise, any remaining Traitors claim it all.
