Tomokazu Harimoto is a Japanese professional table tennis player born on June 27, 2003, in Sendai, Japan. He began playing table tennis at the age of two, following in the footsteps of his parents, who were both former professional players from China. Harimoto's early success was remarkable; he won the All-Japan Table Tennis Championships Juniors title six consecutive times from 2010 to 2015. In 2016, he became the youngest winner of the ITTF World Tour Under-21 men's singles title at the Japan Open, aged 12 years and 355 days. Harimoto's achievements include being a two-time World Junior Champion, winning both singles and team titles in 2016. He also holds records for being the youngest winner of an ITTF World Tour men's singles title (Czech Open, 2017) and the ITTF World Tour Grand Finals (2018). Harimoto uses the Butterfly Harimoto Innerforce ALC blade and Dignics 05 rubbers. He is currently ranked third in the world and has been a key player for Japan in international competitions, including the Olympics and World Championships. His career continues to be marked by innovation and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
