Tony Adams is a former English professional footballer who played as a defender for Arsenal and the England national team. Born on October 27, 1966, in Romford, London, Adams began his youth career at Arsenal and made his professional debut for the club in 1983. He went on to play for Arsenal for 22 years, winning four First Division titles, three FA Cups, and four League Cups. Adams was known for his exceptional defensive skills, leadership, and vision on the pitch. Throughout his career, Adams earned 66 caps for the England national team, scoring 5 goals. He was also the captain of the team from 1985 to 1991. After retiring from football in 2002, Adams went on to become a successful manager and coach. He managed Portsmouth from 2003 to 2004 and was the assistant manager of the Azerbaijan national team from 2005 to 2006. Adams has also worked as a football pundit and commentator, sharing his expertise and insights with fans and viewers.
