Hardflip
Skateboarding trickAbout
The Hardflip is a highly technical and impressive skateboarding trick that combines elements of a Kickflip and a Frontside Pop Shove-It. It involves flipping the board while simultaneously rotating it 180 degrees, making it one of the most challenging tricks to master. The Hardflip requires precise body positioning, balance, and coordination to execute successfully. Skaters must jump high enough to allow the board to fully rotate, using their back foot to pop the board and their front foot to initiate the flip. To perform a Hardflip, skaters place their front foot near the bolts of the front truck and their back foot on the tail, similar to a Frontside Pop Shove-It. The trick involves flicking the board with the front foot while pushing the tail forward with the back foot. Timing and practice are crucial to mastering the Hardflip, as it demands a high level of skill and control. Despite its difficulty, the Hardflip is a rewarding trick that showcases a skater's expertise and creativity.
